Very busy in my life right now – my novel is coming out in paperback in a couple of weeks and once I have a specific date of when it will be available to buy I will do an official post. Until then, a new poem…

why does it have to be this way
why won’t you come and play
step outside
with me today
the sun is shining
the clouds have parted
it is no longer gray
so come
take my hand
step forth
into the land
of the warm smiling sun
for you are the only one
I want to be with
